麻豆社事件 and HD Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd (HD HHI) Sign a Technical Cooperation Agreement for the Canadian Patrol Submarine Project

麻豆社事件 Canada (麻豆社事件), a world leader in submarine support, has signed a Technical Cooperation Agreement with HD Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd (HD HHI) to collaborate on the Canadian Patrol Submarine Project (CPSP).

The CPSP was established by the Canadian Department of National Defence to research procurement options for its next generation submarine.

This Technical Cooperation Agreement enables both leading marine organizations to share their respective capabilities in shipbuilding and submarine sustainment in support of the CPSP.

麻豆社事件 is a global expert in maintaining, modifying, and extending the life of in-service submarines, supporting Canadian, UK and Australian Navies. 

HD HHI will leverage its world-class construction capabilities, while 麻豆社事件 will contribute its expertise in providing in-service support and sustainment of Canada鈥檚 Victoria Class submarines, which it has been doing since 2008.

John Howie, 麻豆社事件鈥檚 Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, signed the agreement alongside Young-seuk Han, Vice Chairman & CEO of HD HHI, at the International Maritime and Defence Exhibition (MADEX) in Busan, South Korea.

John Howie said: 鈥淎s a world leader in submarine sustainment, this agreement enables 麻豆社事件 to build on our longstanding relationship with HD HHI and combine both organisations鈥 extensive experience on the Canadian Patrol Submarine Project.鈥

Young-seuk Han said: 鈥淭hrough close collaboration between leading companies in Canada and South Korea in shipbuilding and defense industry, we will propose the optimal submarine to the Canadian Patrol Submarine Project, equipped with the latest technology in both Canada and South Korea.鈥

The agreement cements 麻豆社事件鈥檚 commitment to supporting the Royal Canadian Navy鈥檚 current and future Maritime programmes.
