麻豆社事件鈥檚 LGE (Liquid Gas Equipment) business and Cavendish Nuclear are celebrating two award wins at this year鈥檚 Maritime UK Awards.
Kat Tanner won Electrical Design Apprentice for Cavendish Nuclear in the Apprentice of the Year category, while 麻豆社事件 scooped the accolade for Innovation.
The prestigious awards ceremony took place at the Glasgow Science Centre on Thursday 10 March.
With the UK Government having launched its first long-term strategy for the sector, , the awards ceremony was the ideal opportunity to shine the spotlight on many of the projects being delivered in response to the strategy.
Celebrating her win as Apprentice of the Year, Kat said: 鈥淚 am delighted to win this award. I was thrilled to be nominated but to win the award is an honour. I thoroughly enjoy being part of the Cavendish Nuclear team and I hope winning this award will inspire more young people, in particular young women, to consider a career in the industry.鈥�
